As the holiday season begins, club activities are picking up, with succulent plants reacting to the cooler weather. November is crucial for club operations as elections for club officers and directors are held. The final guest speaker for the year is plant hybridizer, Kelly Griffin. Members also prepare for the December holiday party featuring a potluck dinner, plant show winners announcement, and club gifts.
Dean Karras began collecting and growing cacti from seed as a hobby in 2008. He has been a member of the Palomar Cactus & Succulent Society since 2017, and a member of the San Diego Cactus & Succulent Society since 2019
We finally got some good amount of measurable rainfall during the previous two to three weeks. I hope that was a great relief for many of you who haven’t had the chance or time to water your garden and plants.
