Greetings Gates!
I cannot believe it has been almost an entire year that I have had the honor to serve as this group’s president. Thank you for all the feedback and assistance this year! I look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence into the new year.
Hopefully everyone will have a chance to join us this Friday 12/13 at 5PM for our annual Holiday Potluck. Instead of a regular meeting, we will join together over food, music, and friendship. The doors open at 5PM for set-up (note this is earlier than our usual meeting time). We will eat at 6PM. The club will be supplying turkey, ham, soft drinks (BYOW… bring your own wine, for those interested), and plates/ dishes. If you signed up to bring a side, please remember to bring it. For those that did not have a chance to sign-up, we highly encourage you to bring your favorite holiday potluck side dish or dessert. We will also be celebrating and awarding our Mini Show high points winners.
For those that missed our November meeting we held an election during which Tom Perez was voted to remain on the Board of Directors as a Board Member, and Karen Roholt was voted onto the Board of Directors as a Board Member.
Last month, Gates hit the road on our Succulent Nursery Field trip to PW Plants, Botanic Wonders, and Waterwise Botanical. Members not only had a chance to view some spectacular collections, but also take advantage of some fabulous shopping opportunities.
