Now that you have learned how to best prepare and stage your plants for presentation, it’s time to enter them into the plant show!
We are just days away from the annual show and sale so I hope that everyone has already signed up to help volunteer for the event. We will have volunteer signup opportunities again during next week’s meeting.
Setting up for the show and sale will begin Thursday morning starting at 9 AM. We will need continuous help throughout the entire two days (Friday and Saturday) and to help clean up after the show and sale ends Saturday at 4 PM. All volunteers will have lunch provided for you during the time you are working between Thursday through Saturday. Everyone is welcome to bring some snacks and/or desserts to share with others. Drinks will also be provided. If you have any specific dietary needs, you are welcome to provide your own nourishments.
The club still needs some more pop-up tents for the outdoor plant sale. If you have a tent that could be used during the sale, please consider loaning it to the club from Thursday to Saturday. Please contact Phuc or John Reynolds (cell #’s are at the end of this newsletter) and we can help coordinate this effort. Thank you.
One last bit of reminder. Please invite everyone you know to come to the show and sale.
Spread the word like wildfire! Experience the Inland Empire’s only cactus and succulent show and sale. It is right before Mother’s Day, so take mom to see the succulents or just get her some!
