Schedule of Events
Thursday, May 8
9:00 am – 5:00 pm: Set up show tables and sales tents.
12:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Exhibitors and vendors deliver plants.
Friday, May 9
9:00 am – 4:00 pm: Plant Sale
8:00 am – 1:00 pm: Exhibitors deliver plants to the show; cutoff at 1 pm
2:00 pm – Judging until completion
Saturday, May 10
9:00 am – 4:00 pm Plant Show (Young Hall) & Sale are both open
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Vendors remove plants
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Tents, tables & chairs tear down
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Rental tables, chairs pick up
Volunteers needed!
Everyone – Come, enjoy and spend! We’ll need some help, too.
Thursday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm – Need about 10-12 people to help set up the sales tent & tables as well as show tables arranged and covered.
Night Security: 6:00 pm – 7:00 am.
Friday: All day, need several volunteers in the Show Room to help exhibitors.
Night Security: 6:00 pm – 7:00 am.
Friday: Security/Holding Table – Need Security Committee to assist people with loading plants into their cars, to safeguard that all plants are paid and carts returned to the sales area, and to secure the holding table for plants that have been purchased.
Sales area & Check-out: Need about 6-8 people to trade off shifts.
Judging: Need 6 clerks, 3 tabulators for the show judging.
Saturday: Security/Holding Table – Same as Friday
Sales Tent & Check-out: Same as Friday
Showroom Floor: Need 6 people in shifts to answer questions, make sure that NO ONE is touching plants, etc.
Tear Down – Need about 10-15 people to help tear down
