Greetings Gates!
I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather as we move into the full swing of summer. Don’t forget to keep your plants hydrated. Drought-tolerant doesn’t mean drought-loving.
The Board would like to remind members that all members (in good standing) are welcome to vend (at no cost) during our monthly meetings. The tables are first-come first-serve. Items sold at the table must be cacti and succulent, cacti and succulent themed/ related, or interest-adjacent (pottery, staging rocks, top dressing, etc). It is highly encouraged that each vendor donate an item to the monthly raffle. Please see a Board member for any questions or clarifications.
John Reynolds is inviting Gates members to his home on Saturday July 12, 2025 from 10AM to 2PM. He is graciously donating a selection of Ann’s propagation collection to Gates members. As the selection is limited, there is no guarantee that the event will last until 2PM. Please respect the time parameters. Address: 5086 Via Serena, Rancho Cucamonga 91701. Please utilize the gate entrance facing Almond St. Our speaker for July is Karen Ostler. She will be speaking on Ferocactus.
