Greetings Gates!
In less than two weeks we will be hosting our 49th annual show and sale! I am writing that statement with both excitement and gratitude for all of our members and leadership that have been instrumental in planning for a successful show and sale. We will be featuring new vendors this year, along with a plant auction, and the return of the kids’ table! Please make sure to see Phuc and Kim during our meeting for volunteer opportunities. Should you be driving through downtown Redlands, keep an eye out for our banner!
This past weekend we had a booth at the Riverside Community Flower Show. Not only were we able to hand out flyers for our show and sale, but both Rene and I took home ribbons at the Flower Show. Rene won a best in show ribbon for his under the sea themed planter! Below is his lovely arrangement and ribbon, along with my entries.
This month we will be featuring Adam Baker as our speaker. This is Adam’s first time speaking at Gates, so let’s make sure to give him a warm reception!
Finally, our t-shirts have arrived! If you have pre-ordered a t-shirt please remind a Board member. We have plenty of shirts for sale.
